Milwaukee, WI, April 19, 2006 -- MSTF Doubles Its Workload in 2006!

Proving that they're completely insane, the MSTF Crew has eagerly taken on not one but two performances at Transformers conventions in 2006. MSTF 9 will be performed at Iacon One in Fort Wayne, IN the weekend of July 7-8, 2006. Following that appearance, the crew will travel to Lexington, KY for BotCon 2006, September 28 - October 1, 2006.

MSTF mocks not just old episodes of Transformers, but all facets of the fandom as a whole. Previous experiments have skewered episodes of the original show all the way through to some of the newer shows that appeared earlier this decade. The staff has also taken shots at the Transformers mythos via read-along books, music videos, and even song parodies. What will this year's experiment spoof? You'll have to see it to find out!

Iacon One is a new fan event that is being held to celebrate the 10th anniversary of "Beast Wars" as well as facets of Transformers fandom from 1984 to the present time. Phil Zeman, one of the MSTF Staff, is also one of the co-organizers of the convention, so you just had to know MSTF would be there. Not only will they perform their experiment, but rumor has it they'll also be involved in the Friday Night Dinner. You can find out more information and pre-register at http://www.iaconone.com .

BotCon is the Official Transformers Convention, run by Fun Publications, Inc. Last year's MSTF at the convention had a prime spot as the only official event being held the opening night of the show, and this year looks to be the same. You can find out more information at http://www.botcon.com.

The MSTF Staff is pleased to be able to perform at both conventions. More importantly, the staff is proud that they are able to help contribute to charitable causes while doing so. A portion of all proceeds of Iacon One will go to the Hasbro Children's Hospital, the pediatric division of Rhode Island Hospital. The Hasbro Children's Hospital is nationally recognized for its Child Protection Program, Injury Prevention Center, and a number of allergy and asthma programs. The hospital is at the forefront of fetal surgery, orthopedics, and pediatric neurosurgery. Last year's performance at BotCon raised money for the Red Cross's Hurricane Katrina Relief Fund, and the MSTF Crew hopes to make this year's event help out another charitable cause.
